Vintage Style Frequency Booster
POKER-mini - Vintage Inspired Frequency Booster
(Formally called POKER-BC107)
Now with fully adjustable "STAB" treble filtering control knob and internal "POKE" gain reduction trimmer.
Drawing on inspiration from the classic "treble-booster" circuits used widely in the 60's and 70's, the POKER uses a single BC107 "Metal-Can" silicon transistor and surrounding hand-wired circuitry to interact with your instrument, pedals and amps to create singing overdrive, saturation and sustain.
The boosted vocal frequencies can push your amp and drive pedals really hard in just the right places to give a wide range of classic and original tones with lots of character and vintage feel.
The LOUD control is your master volume, with lots of level available to boost your signal and drive your pedals and amp harder.
The BASS and TREB 3-way toggle switches give a wide range of responses, from vintage “treble-booster” to throaty, warm and fat tones.
