The Antares Overdrive is my attempt to create the perfect mid pushed overdrive. Taking influence from a couple of my favourite Japanese overdrives and tweaking until I was happy I came up with this. Featuring a Hi-Fi grade Burr Brown op-amp this overdrive really hits home with warm gain tones through to pushed mid tones. The 'Clean' control lets you blend your clean signal into your drive tone. This is great to retain clarity or certain bass frequencies that a mid-pushed drive can tend to remove. As with all Tate FX pedals the Antares features hi-grade, Panasonic and Wima capacitors, 1% metal film resistors, heavy duty Alpha footswitches and premium Lumberg jacks.
