Description
The Auralex Alpha-DST Roominator Kit takes the guesswork out of acoustic treatment. Improve the sound and accuracy of your recordings as well as updating your studio to a fresh new look with an Alpha-DST kit. The DST-112 and DST-114 Panels greatly reduce mid to high frequency reflections, flutter echoes, room ring and excess reverb, while the DST-LENRD Bass Traps take care of low resonance and absorb a large portion of rogue acoustic elements.
Benefits:
- Eliminates standing waves and flutter echoes
- Reduces unwanted reflections
- Decreases slapback and room ring
- Applicable in many attractive design possibilities
- Full bandwidth control with the included DST-LENRD Bass Traps
Designed to treat rooms with approximately 9.2 m/sq (or less) with the shortest dimension being between 1.8m and 2.4m. The DST Panels can be placed in a control room at the points of first reflection (found using the Mirror Method) on the sides, front, rear and ceiling above the listening position or “sweet spot”. For live tracking or performance spaces, a staggered placement of evenly placed panels can be effective across parallel surfaces.
The included DST-LENRD Bass Traps are designed for the 90 degree corners of a room. To increase performance, place them vertically between adjacent walls and horizontally between a wall and the ceiling.
